Admissions and Enrollment.

Echo Hill School does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, colour, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship programmes or other school administered programmes. Enrolment normally takes place before the beginning of the academic year (January – February) or during the course of the year in the case of students transferring from other schools.

Admissions are recommended at the start of the academic year to encourage a quick introduction into the school and so the child does not fall behind with the academic programs.

Admission Policy.

Echo Hill School is a non-selective school which aims to educate students from all communities providing where possible for the special needs of all its students. In most circumstances, admission will be at the Head teacher administrations’ office, following assessment. Students are placed in according to their previous performance.

Senior One Admissions.

We accept students who obtained up to third grade in their Primary Leaving Examination (PLE). The admission costs Uganda Shillings 50,000/= (Fifty thousand). This is because we believe the school has the potential to transform all grades in to desirable academic performance.

Senior Five Admissions.

The admission is on condition the student has accepted subject combination in either science or arts and obtained at least third grade in Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE). The admission costs Uganda Shillings 50,000/= (Fifty thousand).

Transfers to other classes.

There are always limited vacancies in Senior Two, Three, Four and Six for which a student can apply for. After successful interview, a student can be given a place. The interview and admission fee for these classes is Uganda Shillings 50,000/= (Fifty thousand).
